Yeah exactly. Vague thread titles in general are just really annoying.
What? What's more convenient than instantly teleporting anywhere? I mean, you can say trains/airships are more FUN, but they are definitely not more convenient by any stretch.

I'm always on the fence with the easy teleportation, I enjoy "Immersion" as much as the next guy but in GW2 it feels a weird that I throw some money into the air and teleport to a waypoint about half a minute walk from the other :|
However the maps will be completely different in ARR and may not require a mass amount of teleporting over 5 miles of repeated terrain :P
Fight the change!!! Bring the past to the future!

"A waypoint, or a magi-matter-transportive device, is a floating stone marker that players can instantly travel to by using the map. In lore, it is an asuran creation." You're using a device to attune yourself to a previously found waypoint.
I think it's more the method involved feels detatched, such as the "anywhere" mail system; but that's going off-topic.
Don't believe I'll find myself being too worried on whether anima is kept or not later down the road as we'll at least have mounts.
Anywhere mailing / anywhere auctioning etc all of that is no good at all! Stupid design for an MMORPG.
You use carrier pigeons. Look at your character next time you receive mail, sell something or buy something.
A bird flies to or from your character, and everyone else can see it.
I hope they don't get rid of anima... It works exactly as it was intended to. When you have lots of time to play, you run out quickly and have to walk everywhere. When you don't have much time to play, you stay stocked up on anima and don't have to waste what little time you have on travel.
I don't mind if they keep Anima, but I want to see other forms of teleportation via spells.
