Am I the only one who thinks the Hildebrand stuff is stupid?

His character is meant to be silly. You have to be in the mood for it so I only did his quests when I am looking for a good, silly laugh.

I really like him. Reminds me of "The Pink Panther" a bit! Just thinking back of what he called Urianger makes me smile even now!

I atually didn't like him at first but the last few quests hit it right on the head.. He and his assistant remind me in a little way of R2D2 and C3P0 from star wars. Not because they act the same because they were put in for comedic purposes and they're comedic . Though in the droids case they end up helping out more than hildebrand does.

I said in the opening post that I understood why some people liked him, it's just that I personally didn't. Why the hell do you need to be so defensive about it and telling me to burn in hell? Are people not allowed to have differing opinions nowadays? Sheesh...

For everyone else who actually contributed to the point of the thread and shared their opinions without being a jerk about it, thank you. It's nice to know that I'm not the only one who felt similarly (although we are clearly in the minority) about the quest line.

Hildibrand is funny, but I found his assistant more amusing. Would have loved to one quest mostly involving her. Anyone else find his assistant way more amusing then Hildibrand himself?

On a side note how does how many relics have anything to do with "self worth" or the lack there of. Are trolls getting even more stupid as the years progress?
