Races do have different stats, but only by a couple of points. Jobs do have +10 to a stat compared to classes I believe.

With just my fists, I'm:

242STR
255INT
520ATK (651 Fist of Fire)
349ACC

My Monk's Base Stats with all points allocated to STR/INT is
254 STR
252 INT

It's strange that your STR is so low ~10 Points. So either you don't have all your Bonus Points set, or the difference between races isn't that close. I thought they had it so all races were pretty equal now.

With my stats and Taal's stats basically the same, comparing them to Judge's, there seems to be 11 difference between str at lvl 50. I was wondering how everyone was stating that they could drop a +1 str ring in favor of an acc ring.

With only weapon equipped, my MNK stats are:

STR: 243
INT: 255

My stat allocation was STR +23, INT +22.

If I can ever get triple IV on the felt trousers and/or I get the DL Corselet, I could give up one of the rings for acc

Corselet comes with +18 accuracy. Not sure how much the Tabard has, but you generally don't need accuracy accessories when you start equipping Darklight gear on MNK.

See another reason I need to do it haha. The tabard only has +5 acc. So the Corselet will be an increase of 10 str and 13 acc.
So swapping out corselet and triple IV felt trouser (28 str vs 16 now), my stats would be this with an open slot for a new ring..
356 str
303 int
408 acc
550 att

What would be best to fill? Flame Sgt Ring (+20 att)? That would allow me to get a non-gc item in another slot.

Just looked again at DL items, if I can get the eyepatch as well I'll just throw a Int+ ring in. Now... to spend hours in AV and CC...

Interesting, as an Elezen my base stats + Ifrit claws are
STR: 245
INT: 247
ATT: 520
ACC: 349

I knew there was a difference between races. Im curious as to what the rest of your stats are.
