You can run multiple instances. . Will double resources required on your pc though.Thank you for the clarification on duel/multi boxing the game. It's a shame that you can't run multiple instances of this game on one PC, i really hope one day this might be possible. I for one would most definatly have 2 running at once if it was possible. I'd rather have 2 single characters I can play at the same time any day over having 8 that I can only play one at a time ( would really help on those downtimes where you cant get party for a 2+ requirement ). Not everyone can afford to run on multiple pc, alot of people don't even have a 2nd or 3rd pc. The only reason I could see people even using multiple pc would be for 1. RMT, or 2. they just got it like that, props to them.. but we all don't

GM just stated that it is not "legaly" possible, that we would require a 3rd party program and would be breaking the ToS, I'm talking about a legit way to do it. Like with Eve online.. you got 3 character slots per account.. only 1 can play at a time per account.. but you can run the client again and use as many accounts as you want.. currently if you try to open up multiple instances without 3rd party it just goes to boot screen then closes out..

ughh, whoops.. meant to edit not make another post :\

Well then lol. A whole lotta sandboxers are going to be surprised then. Though honestly I'm not sure SE cares because your IP would be the same for two different running characters - something they could easily detect and stop at that instant.GM just stated that it is not "legaly" possible, that we would require a 3rd party program and would be breaking the ToS, I'm talking about a legit way to do it. You have to use third party programs to dual box but those third party programs do not have to modify SE's data to do so. Which I think was why it can break ToS (you cant modify/interact with their code). Otherwise they could say you cant listen to music on another program because it is a third party system that goes over the sound of SE lol.
Maybe I am wrong though XD

I don't know, all I know is it won't let me do it on it's own and I will not try to attempt at using another program to run multiple instances unless it is an officially sanctioned one from SE. What I really hope for is to one day not require a 3rd party program and it let us boot up as many instances of the client we wish to have. While of course only being able to play 1 character per account.Well then lol. A whole lotta sandboxers are going to be surprised then.
