and yea you also can make ugly screenshots in the current version, if you want to.

the current graphic is also not perfect at all. its crappy static in all ways. thanalan looks everywhere the same from ul'dah and to the last corner of thanalan. with MUCH less details in it.
i can speak for myself that im looking much more forward to the different zones in ARR than to explore any region in FFXIV...

And the eyes, and the color, and -all- the feathers not just the tail - all together the newer model looks as I said, in my opinion plastic-y and rounded

i think the eyes are just looking different it looks to me like it would reflect the sky or light effects if you ask me.. the new engine offers real dynamic shadowing.

if the chocobo would stand in a shadow it maybe would look the same, dark and brown.
