EXACTLY
These people want to play for 2 hours on the weekend and be on the same level as everyone else. It's not right. No one would play the game more than 2 hours on the weekend if it was like that. The point in an MMO is it holds your interest.
This is the last time I'm saying this........ I never said this is 24hr NMs vs instanced NMs.
All i'm say is that *IF* they implement more open world NMs they need to be 24hrs because if they're remotely close to what we have now, this game will remain shit in regards to endgame content.
If they do make it instanced it needs to be restricted to a week+ per run, low drop rate and insane difficulty. I hope this makes sense.
One monster popping anywhere in Eorzea is endlessly dumb, casuals are already complaining about not getting rare gear fast enough before good gear has even released, whatever that mob would drop, you and almost anyone elce will never see.
you never played an mmo for long have you. in time everyone ends up getting all the gear. And there is more to mmo then getting gear.People are crazy...
Its not just about gear being very rare, if every single person in the game has the exact same gear, access to every single aspect of the game at any second, why play.
Start a new thread asking SE to just restart every char in the game with everything, just every piece of gear ever, a weapon that when you attack something, it just says "YOU WIN".
why bother having quests or leveling or missions or crafts if all people want to do is hunt nms for gear, that really was never worth it in the end.
First, I said on level reset days. 90minutes will net me about 60-70k xp.
On days we decide to do NMs, we kill probably a dozen or so in 2-3hours. So with that said, I'm geared well, more so then others. I even waste a Dodore's Doublet for my crafting jobs that haven't seen themselves past level 20 w
Just need to be organized...that's all it comes down to. Maximize your playtime.
Man all caps are convincing...but anyway. 24 hour pops means that there is 24 hours between each spawn window, so even if it's a 3 hour spawn, someone has to be there to record the last death so they can bring all their LS and sit for the window. NM then shows up and a clusterf-clusterkerfuffle happens as everyone tries to claim it and then you wait another 24 hours for the 3 hour spawn window to occur. As a result if you want any shot at attempting these you join an LS and then you end up in a contract where your life (ingame and RL) bend to the will of the mob pop times. That's not even getting into random interLS politics which are another story.
The Ul'duh Inn is like an antique shop...full of crap and always closed."You don't have to say anything, I just look at your life now and work backwards." - Black Books
Think so, the problem i see is that by example , when i played FFXI, the real leet gear was salvage/odin gear , and not HNM gear(for the most part).
Salvage was just to much fun.Dont know what happened after i left ffxi.
Those were the times.
I still dream about that full set of usukane i never completed , /cry

You don't have to go to an NM everyday if you don't want to. No one has a gun to your head. The game just isn't fun if everything is so simple to get.
This is the prime example of how shit the endgame and difficulty of this game is.First, I said on level reset days. 90minutes will net me about 60-70k xp.

Did it every occure to you that... some time limits got forced on people after buying the game. Should they get punished also?
