Gil Cap Because of Atomos

None of your gil is being taken away no matter what the cap is, so either you don't understand what's happening or you're a troll.

Our Gil is getting a reduction of 1 number. I'll post what was said....

I feel this pretty mean to ppl who been farming gil since the startup, 99m to 9m is a pretty mean decrease! Even more is 999m to 99m

Our gil is being redenominated at a 10:1 ratio. all gil values for NPCs, costs, rewards, penalties and such are being adjusted accordingly. Therefore, you are not losing gil. Why does everyone keep acting like their money is literally being taken away? That is not what's happening. It's being *SCALED* . This happens in real life all the time, and people's money isn't taken away- they trade in X number of old units for Y number of new units. Those new units have the same value as the corresponding number of old ones.

Why doesn't anyone seem to understand how this works? Your money will have approximately (due to variations in market forces) the same value as before. Only the number of units is changed. I have to wonder if people are being ignorant on purpose.
