They cant put Dawn Drops R/E lol, ppl buy them for their fights sometimes (or not) but that's what supposed to expect. So its totally not that... Unless they lower it to 1g resell price..
Well im not sure how "stupid" they could be, let me explain what I mean. They adjusted it once and they were well aware of what everyone was doing anyway. To go in and do a major overhaul to the buying aspects of the NPCs and GC with less than 2 months before the game shuts down entirely seems a little far-fetched to me.They actually mentioned it after the fact that they were tweaking it. They basically removed the npcs then an hour later said "lol guys we took away the npcs for awhile so we can tweak it" I would turn in your crystals now. The question is now are they going to remove dawn drops, change it so you can only examine the stone once, or lower the seal gain from turning in crystals.
They already made it so you cant get clusters after the first time and they had the chance then to just adjust even more aspects of the event but they didnt. If anything I hope they adjust Atomos spawning at low level camps where no one ever fights his minions.
Also I would like for them to try and do something with the teleport lag. When I am within a few blocks of Bluefrog no where near the character loading distance it still lags for teleports and returns. Either way I guess we will find out after the maint.
They might as well adjust all the med's then, as soon as dawn drops change people will just select the next best item in the GC medicine cabinet and start selling it... lol
At this point whatever changes they do will be too late unless they decide to do a glorious rollback. People have taken advantage of the dawn drops exchange already. Normally I wouldn't condone taking advantage of exploits like this but since we're getting a gil reduction anyway I just joined the thousand others and got myself up to a point where I'll still have a pretty nice sum when 2.0 hits to steal away 9/10th of our gil. Maybe they will fix it, in some ways I sort of hope they do since it's gone on long enough, but we'll have to see what happens, right?
Dang... GM call and.... "I can understand your interest in this event, indeed. Unfortunately, I'm afraid that GM are not allowed to disclose any information regarding in-game events. Therefore, I can only advise you to check on the Lodestone or our official forums (http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/) and look for any announcement or information there."

Same I will be sitting on a nice couple digits going into 2.0.. unless they rollback..
I don't think the damage has been done, it will probably only take a week or so of people going back to farming their regular things for prices to stabilize hopefully. At this point whatever changes they do will be too late unless they decide to do a glorious rollback. I think the problem is the game is coming to an end (as we know it) and most people are settled & accepting of the situation. Now that SE has laid their cards on the table about whats happening with 2.0 (gil, arrows, etc) the market is having a huge fluctuation. I have seen items shoot up in price and others vanish completely. I fear this will be what to expect between now and the last couple of weeks of gametime.
I would expect most of the food, ammo & ingredients will be gone around the 2 week out mark.
