Cartoony style graphics....

I really did think that picture was some sick joke.. These graphics are not cartoony, they are just bad. All the texture has been removed from everything. Every single fine detail emphasized by the Character creator has been smoothed out.

You can't even see highlights in their hair..

yaaa I first noticed it in the first screenshots on their m ain website, but I didn't say anything because my friend was like, you are silly..... Well turns out I wasn't just seeing things.
The bad thing is, it's not just the ps3 version it's also the same thing that goes for the pc version.

Crappy Graphics are crappy graphics. You don't release a Trailer unless you think it will look acceptable to players. I don't care that it's PS3 and I don't care if it's on a super low spec PC. You do not show this kind of worst graphics in the industry unless you for some reason think your players will be okay with it.

no really, I really don't see myself playing this game for much longer after it gets released unless it's super amazing everything else. So, I would like to keep in touch with whomever want's to, I do play other online games on steam and ps3 and what have ya.

I think the main point was to give people the idea of what the game will look like on ps3, nothing more. We knew full well weeks ago that the ps3 version wasn't even alpha ready yet, but yet we kept asking what it'll look like. So I guess this was their way of shutting us up. I do think they should have labeled it better with "pre-production ps3 footage ahoy!"

Also, I really wish that yoshi can make me eat my words, though each little new info is like...... saddens me little by little.

So we will see, my Biggest concern is, this game doesn't have an identity.
