Actually there are. Call it what you will but walking halves the actual aggro radius. Boars and Wolves fall into this category. They aren't "true sound" to begin with (nor is there any such thing - scent agro mobs attack anything they can smell, which is close enough, regardless of whether or not they are moving... which by definition means they don't agro any kind of sound, true, false, regular, or otherwise). They are just regular sound agro. Which means the RMT sitting on the gate don't get attacked, period.
That said, you can certainly pile a ton of eles around the gate and the leaders will get constantly killed as they try to initiate LQs. Also you can scatter the eles to the west of Cedarwood, which is the field whatever LQ thing they're doing is done. It's very easy to choco herd them where you want. They have a large territory.

The elementals themselves are not scent/sense/true sound aggro. I walked right up to one and got no aggro, well within the same radius as a boar or morbol would aggro. As long as people are careful, this isn't too bad.
People have been saying there are high-level elementals in other areas as well. Which areas? I want to see as many aspects of this apocalypse with my own eyes.
