ARR Leveling Speed?

I've nevr "blown through levels like hotcakes." I don't feel power-leveling counts when assessing this because that's not standard practice. It actually takes a fair bit of time to level up if you only do leves and "normal" parties.

Generally in an MMO I like to take it slow on my first character / class, then on the others I'd rather not waste time griding as I've already experienced what it's like for that game. Therefore I think it's good for there to be different options.

If you have a decent party, you can get 30-36 within 4-5 hours w/o PL, in fact I never once "asked" for a PL, Most of it came from normal Grinding. You don't really need a PL in this game to be quite honest, 44-50 at a SH is just madness 400-500k in a matter of 2 hours.. that's insane..

I have nothing against PLing, but personally its a last resort for me. and I have all 50's ( Battle and Magic) by mostly normal grinding and in a 2 year span.. that's not really healthy for an MMO that it's main goal is Longevity.
