That warrior also probably spent much more gil on melds than the BRD did too, if we're going to get into the "balance" aspect, lets cover all bases. Hell chances are that BRD was in full AF too.Nope. Food, potions are for everyone. Equal ground here.
Ammo to use your attacks isn't. Having 1 out of 7 classes being required to spend a bunch more gil just to do their job isn't fair. Warrior can do a bunch of fights with a Archer and at the end of the day the Archer has spent much more gil then the warrior, and that is unbalanced.

That's just a poor argument and unrelated to having to spend gil to use your normal abilities. Any class can spend a ton of gil on melds.
Fact: The archer spent gil to kill monsters
Assumption: The warrior spent more in materia melds

This defeats the earlier claim that only ARC/BRD spends gil to level. But everyone should be happy now, SE is making everything easy to play, so no one will have any worries about needing gil for anything, especially consumables.

Well it should be "Only ARC/BRD has to spend gil to level"
inb4 auto attack punching the mob.
And yes I'm happy, I don't know why anyone wouldn't be. Assuming the arrows are the same, and that all you're losing is the constant gil cost, it's win win for everyone.
Well I guess carpenters lose, but you can still make furniture and weapons.
