how to make 10mil+ gil a day (and its effect on 2.0?)

this is grossly exaggerated.

I have 26k seals on me.

Dawn drops cost 15 seals for 10 drops. They NPC at 122 gil. That's 2.1 mil total if I trade and sell everything.
You'd have to talk with the NPC and go through 3 or 4 slow ass UI menus 1733 times.

I hardly see how this is economy breaking.

50k seals = 200 crystals = 4.2ish mil

i made over 400 crystals today (workin towards 500k acheivement) missing multiple pops, not always teleporting to second camp, etc. And not playing all day. So if i wasnt getting gear, I could have made 8.5 mil today (not including npc time) for maybe 10 hours of distracted runs. Someone who would make every run and port on time easily makes over 10mil (I know people that are doing this....)

Im not counting the npc time because while we might play legit, most people making millions a day don't. You never find it fishy that ppl in uldah sit next to an npc and craft 24/7 for days on end? protip: they aren't skipping sleep.

try convert it to gil first and tell us how many hours you took for converting all 400 crystal

He is saying it looked bad only on theory, nobody in my any LSs is doing this at all because how stupid boring it is to turn in all seals to dawn drops.

People can make alot more than 10m in 16hr.

I know of multiple people doing this, hence the post. (some are using alts to get double crystals as well i believe)
And the issue here isnt that people are making gil. Its that people are making gil from an npc which means the amount of gil in circulation (money supply) is being continuously raised.

That coupled with rumours about gil decreases is leading to some pretty hardcore inflation. Which is a serious issue when you are a month and a half away from shutting down servers. If 2.0 starts with a hyper-inflated economy it will be very difficult for new players to afford anything without making gil essentially meaningless (allowing new/all players to make capped gil+ faster than the current rate resulting in everyone having capped gil and storing gil across retainers and chars)

I've converted 3000 GC seals and I swear I wont do it again. I still have many other things to do. And please, share your experience first, converting all those seals. If you are saying you need bot to accomplish this, then it is a bot usage problem, not abusing event problem

Its quite simple, there isnt enough gil sinks in this game that are NPC based. If they brought back dynamis they would want that hourglass to be 10mil or 20mil or 30mil each. This would be a good method of the game getting back that gil.

Toget 1mil in FFXI was so much harder then in FFXIV.

1 Lower NPC selling prices
2 Raise NPC selling prices
3 Lower/remove Gil rewards on enemies, quests and so forth.
4 Add more items players need to buy off of NPC's such as Coke.
5 Increase tax in AH
6 Lower Anima in Hamlet by 95%, so were only getting a few.
7. Sell Anima at NPCs

Edit: i'm just convinced now SE is intentionally wrecking the economy for 2.0 so and some crazy plan to rectify it like making gil useless.
