No the problem is people spending seals to buy Dawn Drops to NPC. I'm really shocked something hasn't been done about it.

People are getting anywhere from 500k gil worth of seals per Atomos pop. Of course everything is going to raise in price when more people have gil.

"Anywhere from.." means you have to give a range of values instead of one

LMAO, exactly what I was thinking. 500k is exaggerated by about 100k. As 4crystals is about 88k gil.

Atomos is NOT causing inflation. The only way to turn Atomos crystals into NEW game money ('cause getting it off other players does nothing to the economy), is to mass buy/sell dawn drops... But have you actually tried doing this? Try doing it with 5k seals.... It takes hours upon hours, and that 5k seals wont even get you a mil in gil. The time it takes to do this, you could earn the same off farming or pretty much anything else.

It might not be greased lightning, but it sure is easy considering all you have to do is spam the enter key for a while then go to a vendor and sell it all.

OK let me explain how money works because people seem to think that Atomos = Inflation. Which in a way is true. If you were given an easy way to get a lot of GC seals your going to use it.

Because everyone is out waiting for Atomos to pop they are spending less time doing other things.
    Less time to gather items.
    Less time to spirit bond.
    Less time to craft.

People with money are still buying items they need because its convenient.

With a much lower supply of items and little to no change in demand the ward are selling out causing prices to go up.

As far as people selling crystals people are making money off of these but its just another commodity.
There is no money getting added to the system because the only way the at money is added is by killing mobs with gil, selling items to npc's, or doing quests.

Money is just changing hands now in great quantity on an item that is easy to obtain but high in demand.

SE only mistake was to create an event there servers could not hand and had to remove one of the best rewards from it. While 3K clusters were still available the price of crystals was going down. I was not even turning mine in I was saving them B/C they offer a nice attack boost. Once Clusters got removed the demand for crystals went up so there prices rose.

Bottom line is that all the stuff on the AH can be obtained your self. Yes some you need a group for the drop but there are people who need items that you can sell to them and then buy what you want that's the cycle.

People constantly trading in seals for dawn drops and NPCing them adds a lot of money to the system.
