You two are the ones being narcissistic here... You're assuming everyone is actually your friend. If they don't care enough about you to play on the same server as you then they really aren't that important in your life anyway, so get over it.

It's also ironic that you guys are calling me narcissistic when you're the ones suggesting that everyone should have to suffer latency issues to be forced to play with you because you don't want them to leave you lol.

Less people to play with for for what's probably an unnoticeable latency downgrade (Perth, Australia) still sounds pretty negative to me.

You do realize, Mijin, the large majority of the latency issues will be alleviated regardless of which server you connect to, do you not? And that all weaponskills/spells will be on a three second cooldown? What you're gaining to separate people is minimal compared to the drastic difference we'll see from 1.0 to ARR.

And as I've noted, even now SE was able to take truly awful latency and animation lock into account when designing Nael. Something that of course, you haven't beaten, despite your gameplay > friends mentality.

He havent really beaten anything worthwile in this game, lol. Probably why i dont even bother arguing with him. One day maybe his 'friends' will help him go through it! one day when they existed.

Some of my ls-mates don't think there would be any issue. And they might be correct. I just hate seeing doors being opened for results that are undesirable. I hope my misgivings are unfounded.

I don't understand the problem. Yes the new servers are gonna split communities apart. But the old servers aren't gonna be destroyed. So why don't you stay on the old one? Sure they gonna be in Japan so you will have higher latency then on other server. SE can't break the laws of physics. The question is if they fixed the delay of 1-3 seconds that we have at the moment to what is physicly possible? If yes then there isn't any more reason to cry at all.
