Came back to be ready for 2.0

I reactivated my character to check out 2.0 I got some questions thought...

1- What will happened to my character? Will I loose him after the update?

2-Since I already got the game,will 2.0 be a free upgrade or I'll have to buy another game again?

3-I heard about the Imperial event,where is it located?

4-Any good place to farm for a lvl 40 conjurer?

There will be some downtime when open beta starts, at which point version 1.0 will be unplayable. All your character data up until 1st Novemember will be saved and transfered to 2.0 A Realm Reborn. In 2.0, you will be able to change your race and appearance.

Free for pre-existing players.

3-I heard about the Imperial event,where is it located?

There's not much point to it, other than to witness it, unless you take down the NMs, which will require a party of people to do. The event is in Iron Lake, and Dragonhead, and Broken Water.

There's also the Atomos event, which you can find details of on Lodestone.

4-Any good place to farm for a lvl 40 conjurer?

You can powerlevel on Ants south of Halatali if you know a high level friend (it's quite efficient), otherwise just do Natalan EXP parties, or Ant EXP parties (Halatali), or Raptor EXP parties (Iron Lake).

Leves are also okay.

Do your white mage quests before you continue leveling up.

You're not "too low" for the atomos event I'm not sure the imperial event is still happening though. Anybody can get the rewards from it, and atomos is so non-resistant to stuff that you could probably hit him.

Is there confirmation of the imperials popping up now that atomos is going apeshit all over the place?
