Lol are you serious? They ARE giving you a choice. If you want to stick with the current servers just pick one that is based in Japan. All they are doing is adding regional servers for Europe and the US for those that prefer that option.
You guys are asking for something that will be there anyway.

Sadly that's not the choice they want. So when someone says "Give us a choice" over this, what they really mean is "Give me this particular choice that I'm demanding is made available to me in this particular way."

If your picking one based on japan wouldn't that mean the majority of the people who picked that server would be JAPANESE? I mean thats how it is now but the ratio to NA/JP people on that server would be quite different than it is now compared to most of our servers i would think.

Yes so now what you have to do is : talk about it with your "Good" Internationnal Linkshell on what they want to do. Then pick the server on wish you think is better for you. Maybe all your LS will select EU server who could be good for all of you, or maybe they will all split up.....the choise is yours.

That's good advice, i just don't want my JP friends to get segregated into a mostly all NA server as thats too much to ask of them. And at the same time i don't want to pick a server located in japan(language reasons) but maybe there will be a decent na/jp populated world which i'm hoping for.

You do know that the current servers are all located in Japan right? They're only giving players extra options to move elsewhere if they want to improve their gameplay experience. They can't force people to play on a server, people will go wherever they want. Basically the only way to make you happy is to keep servers in Japan which is an incredibly stupid request anyway.
