thats what i'm thinking. The hype around killing him is just going to plummet and just make him more annoying at the camps now.
Its a short term solution to the problem if you ask me. The way they should have done it would be to change the GC items so you cannot sell them for gil, but that would require a lot of work. This may have put a wrench in their gears for the big finale as now something that would have been fun for a while has lost its luster in less than 48 hours.
Anything new about the "Blue Camps"?
Are there still adds (haven't seen any so far) or is there any good fast way to clear {Monster of Maw Most Massive}?
seriously? if you gave up before, i'm pretty sure going back is a good idea, in the last "round" (from 18:00 until last kill after 00:00) i managed to get whooping 55 crystals, it's almost 14k seals, when before if i was really luck i would get 8k a round. but maybe i was just really lucky this time.
btw, you can spam the voidstones until they disappear, that might be about 4~5 chances per pop.
also, this is just a theory, but i want to confirm: i think atomos now spams in every orange camp simultaneously, and depops after some time (maybe 03:30 in game time) so you can get as many kills as the time/lag allows during that. but since you need the man power to kill him, it's a good idea that everyone agrees in some order, currently at gungnir it's glory > bluefog > brittlebark > ? (some people going everlakes, some going revenant's, it seems)
Sorry, but would someone mind providing the "ideal" route for farming? I start at Glory, Atomos pops at 18:00 and 0:00. After kill, I tele to Bluefog and run after Atomos, then do the same thing at Brittlebark; which zones do you do after that? Ever Lakes after Brittle? Also it seems he sometimes just doesn't spawn in the following zones?
Lastly any tricks for reducing tele lag? I've tried running a good distance away from the camp, but it doesn't seem to matter.
I just got claim on the pop on Atomos at Bluefog thanks to a badly-timed bald joke-- I mean, Blizzara.
Logging out/relogging to see if there's an NM history achievement.
That's how it's always worked. 18:00 - 21:00 and 0:00 - 3:00. On Balmung the Bluefog camp is simultaneously killing it as fast as the Glory camp so we've been forced to move elsewhere for a second camp.seriously? if you gave up before, i'm pretty sure going back is a good idea, in the last "round" (from 18:00 until last kill after 00:00) i managed to get whooping 55 crystals, it's almost 14k seals, when before if i was really luck i would get 8k a round. but maybe i was just really lucky this time.

Also, only 8k? I was getting 12k minimum before. Now it's more or less of a gamble.
Well that sucks. Least I was able to farm a lot if seals on my other character. I'll have to see how it goes today.
Hard fight? The two times I encountered him he got whooped in like 30 seconds lol. Though I think someone said he is tougher now, not sure how much... but before there was so many people on him he died very very fastThe reward for doing this hard fight was great, now its meh. Sorry but I dont think you will have enough people to actually beat him by this time next week, people will have no reason to fight him and the event will be pointless.
Only reason I say this is because it takes a lot of people to beat him with adds and taking his HP down quick enough to get the kill, without a substantial reward now he will just be an annoyance at camps.
