I'm not complaining. 4 GC weapons, all key items, and a bunch of random gear so far. This is pay back for all them shitty company leves and slow caravans we were put through.

I think this event highlights a few things:

#1. Players really wanted to get GC seal items, but the ways to do it were too prohibitive and need to change. Masochism is not the way to go, and that's why players are flocking to this.

#2. The way the rewards are distributed are effective unlike the Elite Garleans, which frustrates the hell out of everyone.

IMO the event is broken. It should never have been this easy to obtain GC seals after it was a bit of a grind up to this point to obtain them. It undermines all those who have run countless chocobo caravans, etc. I'm not saying that I am one of them, but seems a bit overkill with the rewards. [/partypooperoff]

A week before this event I ran caravan for 10 hours to get my 25k rank. I don't feel like my efforts have been undermined. I'm just glad other people can hit their max ranks and get some weapons. I myself am enjoying the benefits.

Also, best time to work toward your GC shield at 500k seals! lol.

Also, if they had more of these events in 2.0 (scaling with # of ppl in vicinity) it would be reeeeeeeeally nice

exactly, maybe they want us to gear up with GC gear so it'll match the GC vs empire battle

This thought occurred to me and an LS member also as the day passed. The seals are almost being handed out by the box load.
And yes, I have obliged by spending large amounts on GC weapons and gear
