It's probably because the items don't register as different items, server-side. +3 Oak Log, Oak Log and +1/+2 Oak Log are all the same item. They would have to go down the list one by one. It's necessary to differentiate +3 and NQ though, I agree. Most of the time, I have no interest in NQ materials at all, so I waste a lot of time checking if they're +3 or not. I just don't know if it's a priority right now for the amount of work that might be involved.

    Oak Log = 10008011
    Oak Log +1= 10008011.1
    Oak Log +2= 10008011.2
    Oak Log +3= 10008011.3

They moreso, had to actively decide to lump all of those numbers together, or essentially ignore the decimal character, so that all of the quality logs are displayed under the one listing.
I'm guessing they wanted to avoid another step to get to the actual searched items.

My suggestion, so that it doesn't cause an additional step for everyone, only those who are looking for HQ's specifically, that the search defaults to ALL grades, with a drop down menu on the side of the listing to filter to specific qualities.
Shouldn't be to difficult, and they likely didn't figure it was needed, but when the main motivation currently for crafting, is to make HQ items, then listing/selling/buying with an HQ filter, is highly beneficial.

I feel all the reasons discussed and listed about are all great arguments for an Auction House system. I really feel this would be very beneficial to balance the community/server economy and relieve some of the head aches of finding items/gear/weapons. As stated there is no real sort feature for NQ/HQ items, a list of the last items sold to figure out if you are getting ripped off, and the means to make some money with out a market full of undercutting of the lowest price. Also, if there is a concern about Auction House lag then the wards could be keep in place, the Auction House system could still be implimentted within the Market Ward system.

How you ask? Well, what would you say if the DOW's gear/weapon/etc were sorted by an Auction that is located in the Battle Den? How about the Tradecrafter Den holding an Auction House for DOH gear/tools/etc? Or an Auction House for all food Item raw/prepared in the Grocers Ward? How about all of the crating materials located in a Crafters Warehouse? With this type of combined system the Auction House would sort the item and balance the economy, while the Dens/Wards will sorted the class/type of items being sold! I think this could also cut down on the number of market wards/dens listed as some itme/gear/etc over lap in the current system. This could help too when the class specific gear/weapon/items/etc are released in a patch. I think this could be a nice combination of a both systems, a (Market Wards) system that has flaws but is an interesting concept with a (Auction House) system that is tested and true.

    What do you think?
