I don't think Atomos is being inconsiderate, but a lot of you are being kinda harsh. I'd be pretty annoyed, too, if I were trying to do leve achievements and kept getting killed. Not everyone has time to be a hardcore player, so having that time stolen must be very upsetting.

I guess my advice is to change your expectations for what you CAN get done, and accommodate the apocalypse in your daily routine like Mamba has.

I restarted yesterday myself,
got myself pretty badly hurt by a bunch of imps who popped right after i started my levequest (they hit me for 5000 damage hah).

i didn't mind the dieying part, but i was kinda frustrated with the part that i was on the floor for 15 minutes while my quest timer was going down and i didn't know if or when they'd leave so i could crawl back up

And you Dexterity Jones must be a stupid troll too.
Just because a level 5 person gets oneshotted by a high level NM doesn't actually make a game hard... You obviously aren't meant to fight Atomos as a lvl 5 character now are you?

Anyways, I wasn't posting really about the dying part in low level areas. Kinda self explanatory if you read the update posts that if Atomos pops in these camps it is advisable to avoid these areas. What really drives me nuts always these forums though is the massive negative attitude about every bit of critisism people post.
Seriously Kiri, do you want to play with the same people for the rest of your FFXIV life? If the answer is no then maybe stop posting stupid things on the forums that make you look like a elitist douche.
And this other brilliant chap who I mentioned earlier in my post... the whole "omg it's a wowclone" era has passed long time ago so maybe get a new argument in your bag of useless information so someone would actually take you seriously.

Thumbs up to all new people who come to FFXIV (yeah, I am actually not new at all, I just made a NEW CHARACTER so I can experience the low level quests as a low level and not burn through them as a 50) I really hope you manage to enjoy the game and find a way to work through the slight inconvenience of world coming to an end soon
