WTF end of billing no legacy staus fml

"Users with service accounts that have paid for at least 90 cumulative days of subscription between January 6, 2012 and the start of version 2.0 beta testing are eligible. Square Enix will automatically notify you if you are eligible and you may also confirm your eligibility by using the Square Enix Account Management System."

Question #1: How is this missleading? IT IS NOT!!!
Question #2: Where were you the months and months they posted over and over and over and over and then said this was the absolute last day to subscribe or join back up if you wanted to be eligible?
Question #3: If you log into your account it totally tells you if you are eligible, and did you confirm your eligibility?

Note #1: If you haven't paid for a full 90 days cumulative your legacy status would not show.
Note #2: If your subscription ends on or before September 29th, 2012 you have to pay for the month of October for service. This is to account for those that joined before the legacy campaign ended and wanted their 90 days of service.
Note #3: For those that are paid up during the qualifying months all your subscription end dates should be after September, 29th 2012. Therefore, they are giving you the perk of playing for the month of October and some time into November for free.
Note #4: They ceased their multiple month subscription plan to go to monthly plans when the promotion period ended so as to not confuse people thinking they could pay 3 months in advance and especially paying into the server down times with no game access.

Frankly, I'm really tired of these entitlement threads. The legacy campaign was designed for loyal players and player who returned to the game when the company was trying to increase their user base and to show off their improvements. For those that did not take advantage of the deal when it was announced for several months in posts after posts and clarified and reclarified on the forums on hundreds and hundreds of posts...YOUR LOSS!!!

I am well aware of what the legacy page states - that has been my source for my argument.

Legacy says beta, last date to pay (I think) is September 29th (28 or 29 but definitely not the 30) - some people will get cut off on the 30th even though October has 31 days and beta doesnt get going until the server has been able to cooldown.

And said over and over no one is arguing on its intention. But go look at the front page now - the campaign is still up.

What the hell is it still doing up? And its not like its just being informative - it is still acting like oh hey if you get 90 days before beta you can make it! But the truth is only some of you can make it !

Some of you will be left out in the cold, oh well - even though beta hasnt started.

But they dont say September is the last month to pay for. Its true that you can pay the third month still even now - that has nothing to do with the end date saying beta (which would mean "two" months not just one).

Although some people here will escape with two months anyways.

Now your going a bit to far, I'm not saying that I don't give a shit about other "potential players" for the chance to get Legacy. Never once I implied that, but the fact of the matter is, is that its either:

A) They came at the near end of FFXIV 1.0, and expects to get legacy
B) They knew about it, but they didn't think this game would succeed so they wrote it off till after they saw E3/Gamescom and are like WOW this game really DOES look cool and trys to get legacy when its been over for a month or 2

Yes they should take it down now, but either way you look at it theirs only 2 months left till Beta, less than 1 month till Alpha, the Offer has long been over. I'm only stating facts, not trying to say " I got legacy so I dont give a shit about you!".

No that's completely wrong, in fact I want everyone to get legacy, but that facts are right their, you think that "one" site is the only "Real" information when their are 2 VERY easy links to find right on the lodestone with all that information.

I really don't know what else to say to you at this point.

well even you can't subscribe after october so it changed the rule a bit but still Square is doing what they want they are not force to do this to please to some people that came back just to say , hey i was here too , only in the end when it looks all good but i was here !
