i'm surprised is that people use so many blms for garuda and still need to wait on 65% phase to skip 2nd phase lol

Very good look (but one thing brds do not BV Ballad we BV Minuet (for the ACC so no blm should get resisted MP shouldn't be a issue) and the other brd does BV at 2hr to keep it going while the brd with no BV plays ballad

the 65% is not to skip phase two ^^ its more to make sure you get Garuda to 20% so that during Phase 3 you have 1min to zerg garuda down( only reason we stop at 65%) you want her to release 3 ways of feathers (giving you more time to nuke her down) while clearing just your 2 main towers ( and letting those other feathers blow up for the reason is ) Garuda will not 2hr if her feathers are out so we use that time to nuke her down Hard!

BLM burns always have a refresh bitch. Apparently you don't know what a BLM burn is.

BLM's should always have a refresh person. Its the standard set up in any BLM party. It was standard for FFXI - RDM and BRDs refreshing and ballads on the BLMs. Think about it. Run out of MP and you got Garuda coming at you with 2% health, Convert is down, whats next? Smack her with a yard stick? Running out of MP is never good in a Garuda fight.

^^ to what you are saying ( we have done garuda many times we simply wanted to show a different way for those who are new and have not done garuda much and having problems with it haha most if not everyone in ls is about done with relics we simply wanted to help people out, nothing about what we showed is new of course but its just another way to kill her no one is forcing anyone to do it this way at all.

Brds = is the key to what you said if you watch the video ballad never comes down and most blm never convert till after she does 2hr anyways to make sure they get burst off on her ^^ but some blms in our party do it during the 65% phase just due to the fact they may have an mega either or Elixir with them

Even with just 3 blms you should be more than able to burn her down without having to wait at 65%, we usually only go with 2-3 blms and unless our blms arent that good, we just burn her down nonstop to around 30% without having to wait at all and with doing BV Ballad at around 2nd jump, thats what i mean with being a bit surprised you guys have to wait lol

I think youre missing the point as far as this strategy goes. They are waiting at 65% so they have optimal conditions to burn her down. Getting her down to 30% without waiting is fine and dandy, but every single hit matters in this kind of strategy, thus why they are waiting. Every single hit that they don't do before the aerial blast is a hit they will have to do after it. That's fine in a normal strategy but with this one they are basically putting all of their eggs into one basket because a minute after aerial blast goes off garuda either needs to be dead or the entire party is going to be one shotted, so yeah, a skilled party can easily get it to 30% or lower without waiting, or they could wait giving them an extra 10 to 20 seconds while nuking, which is enough time to get off up to 2 rotations of nukes thus taking it down to 15% before aerial blast plus the fact all of your timers will be up due to said wait meaning you are going to have 15% less hp to worry about after aerial blast.

Funny how you say first to attempt, yet I have seen several videos doing it this way from months ago.

Only difference is they didn't need to stop at 65% to skip phase 2.
