Thanks. i'm confused about the Aerial Blast part. You guys only had two pillars left when she used it but only one person died. Every time i try this fight almost everyone in the party dies from Aerial Blast and we have 4 pillars left, with some pillars missing parts of them. i don't understand that.

Each pillar has 4 blocks. 16 in all. You want to have at least 8 up to be safe.

To be frank, the plume management was terrible, BRDs wasnt doing good job, not a very good video for tutorial if that was your intention. People almost dies from Aerial Blast.

You only need to keep two towers up, they were ignoring the other two on purpose. They did exactly what they were supposed to do. The person who died was responsible for their own death.

Bards only take care of 2 towers ( with WHM BuFF Stone skin and Brd 2hr Min.) No one should die ( we left the other towers go down for a reason) for there is NO way 2 brd can keep all 4 towers cleared so that is the reason. (we have never died to 2hr when both pillars are Full and im sure we have done about 40 runs

Don't say something is impossible just because you can't do it. I've been in plenty of groups where two bards keep three towers full and the last one at around half health. It gives a lot more leniency to the group on two hour.

But congrats on making one of the most fun fights in the game another blm burn, god knows we don't have enough of those already.

I'm with this guy on this- it is not impossible to have all 4 towers at full health if the plume distribution was favorable and the tank didn't have any issues moving Garuda away from the pillars. I guess I should have screenshotted the pillars on the few rare instances where this was achieved, otherwise it's around 50-50 whether or not we have a 3rd pillar @ it's top level. Me and my other BRD partner can keep 2 pillars at max height and still save the other 2 pillars at their 2nd level and that causes Aerial Blast to take almost nobody into yellow HP and our WHM can save Benediction for later and top off the party with Sacred Prism Cura instead. And I realize this is quite the task for many pair of BRDs and not anybody can do it, but it can be done.

There is so much misinformation surrounding this thread at Garuda strats that all I have else to say about it thus far is that this method hardly what many consider to be "new" and rather just an improv. way to maybe handle Garuda if the group lacks a DoW such as LNC and its spot gets taken by a BLM.

Again, many people abuse the stop @ 70-65% to force an extra plummage phase. And it isn't necessarily exclusive to "BLM burns."

You haven't done much of the relic then because most of it is better done NOT BLM burning it.

Now that I think about it, ifrit is like the only thing I BLM burn anymore. Well would BLM burn since I haven't done ifrit for months and even then people don't even BLM that anymore.

i think your comment is quite optimistic. A lot of people still prefer throw blm at everything, and they deserve a burning inferno
