How is that gear normal looking? It looks nothing like anything else I remember from FFXI.

Oh, I wasn't referring to that gear specifically, although it does look a bit generic to be honest.

The clothing isn't all that important IMO, but I am really hopeful that the rings are something special and either have the name engraved or some sort of customisation.

Something like a blue named ring with "[Partner's name]'s Love" or something like that would be cool.

Well, in all fairness the XI opaline dress used the base model for doublets. Since we have stuff like Vanya floating around, it wouldn't surprise me to see them use that as the base for a wedding dress in XIV.

The male wedding outfit I never liked, but that's because I'm an evil westener that disagrees with the whole "white = purity" thing. As we know, males wear black in our weddings, and I'd like that option here.

If I'm not mistaken the male outfit was a re-purposed Corsair AF model for the most part. I think that particular style in black would have looked a bit strange, but I do agree I'd like more color options (Dumb and Dummer Sky Blue and Orange? Yes please!)

This thread is really cool! It would be a really great way to introduce the marriage system (by allowing players to design outfits). I'd love to contribute more then +1's but I am a horrible artist >.> lol
