For all the lore loving fans out there, we are currently looking into a system for A Realm Reborn where you will be able to read lore while in-game. However, it still hasn’t been decided what it will be or exactly how much there will be, and even once this is decided we expect this to be implemented further down the line.

A bestiary with detailed lore about them (and a place for players to take some notes about each of them!)

Official city-state record of their citizens with full description and all non-secret lore aspect of each NPC related to the city-state (it would be illegal in-game to access these files, maybe we'd have to sneak around and go trough secret pathways to access them?)

Old stone tablets relating major events of each zones/areas, they could be found in libraries or museums.
