Day 7, still no resolved issue tech support keeps giving us the run around, latest chat someone posted tells them the servers are fine and it must be their save data (lolwat?) This is really some shoddy service. (I know i know, blogging w/e people need to know about this and not leave it sealed in the tech forums which basically gets no replies, they also don't let up post on the bug forums)

Gungnir is most certainly NOT fine. I've been having this issue quite frequently lately, mostly in the wards. It may be occurring less on our server than on Balmung, but it is still happening.

I'm just glad I haven't been perma-stuck yet. Had a few scares recently.

Edit: On a semi-related note, I can't help but feel that the servers are getting progressively worse as we get closer to 2.0. It's kind of funny, if you can get past how annoying it is at times.

Not had an issue in the wards for ages, I did have one problem, about 2 months ago when the wards crashed and I was locked out for a bit, but since then nothing, I also use a 3g internet connection, and the only time I dc is when I move the modem out of signal. I really haven't seen anything recently.

I have been saying it all along. Not enough people are affected, so nothing is being done.
What does it matter how many are affected? if I am the only one with this problem, will they just wait for more people to have this problem before they fix it? is that what you are implying?
whats the magic number then? it seems to be higher than 8.

No, it doesn't mean they won't fix it. But the number of people it effects may change their course of action and how big of a priority they put on this right now. It may be that they will just wait until ARR to fix the issue.

I'm sorry but if I were you I would just create a new character and find someone to PL you on your favorite class. So you can at least experience the 7th Umbral era content.

Then when your characters are ported over, you can mail whatever you gain from your new character to the one that's currently stuck.
