14 should have its own unique-to-FF14 reoccurring shopkeeper, instead of just Rin or Chocolina from other games being brought in.

A fat merchant with an obese chocobo would be amusing, I think. As would a reoccurring merchant. Imagine if he was at every camp. You'd be like "What the-- I thought you were just at..." Could be a joke that he just travels faster than you, or maybe they could pull a Nurse Joy with him.

Although VIII is not my favorite, I'd love to see Ultimecia's Castle as some sort of high level dungeon maybe. Hell, they're bringing in the Crystal Tower, so why not others =p the castle was awesome!
