Moon Phase Broken?

I'm sorry but I need to debunk this nonsense. Dodore's spawns have nothing to do with moon phases, I've been there and killed him plenty of times so I'm sure and I can confirm moon is irrelevant since I have also fought him on every moon phase there is.

He has a rule to his spawnings; once he starts spawning he will keep on spawning on and off every weather change wich is every 8 in game hours : 8:00, 16:00 & at 24:00 and he will continue spawning for a number of hours (real time, not game time). The moment you see a weather change from sunny to rain and no miasma that is when his window has ended and he will not come back for the same numbers of hours you saw him up.

I've waited nearly a full day IRL during both the new moon AND full moon with absolutely no miasma spawn. This has happened several times amongst other LS's on Besaid that I work with. EVERY time we have seen him spawn it has been during the other phases. Coincidence or not, thats what we see

That's coincidende I can assure you that. Also I don't wanna sound rude but I'm confused, how long does waited nearly a full day IRL means for you? Because in a "full day IRL" You can see 5 diiferent moon phases. So how come you waited a full day with the same moon phase on? Again I am not trying to sound rude, I'm sure I misunderstood something because I doubt you were literally there for a full day. Actually I'm sure you weren't there for longer than 7 hours *hint or else you would've seen him spawn.

moon has effect on crafting? really? o_O craft a lot but no such failure except for when elemental hour or so.. >_<

Yes, I apologize, I really have no idea what I meant to say there but you are right that in a full 24 hour day you would see several phases and hence would see him spawn. It was bad wording but at that moment I could have either meant a full phase in game or by 'full day IRL' for me, I mean in a single sitting, which is at most 5 hours or so. It's not likely I could even physically sit at my computer for 24 straight hours. I'm really not trying to be misleading I have no idea what direction I was going at that time lol.

It's just that none of us are even 100% sure what the moon phase does so from my own experience and those I've dealt with, we form conclusions. Everyone seems to have a different theory. The only thing in common with these is that weather changes every 8 hours... and that he spawns in miasma.
