The drops are a plenty for everyone...it's not even low drop rate. And the mobs are plenty so that everyone will get their chances at it.

Are you referring to the drops coming from the Magitek armor and the ?? party surrounding it? The other day myself and a full party (and extra healers outside the party) went after these enemies for the hat drops, and after killing the entire "H-1" group 4-5 times, we got 1 whopping Jester Operative hat. We were convinced this was SE's famous drop rates shennanigans again.


And I too am interested in the validity of the level 50 "trash imperials" dropping these hats because between respawns of the Magitek we mass farmed them as BLMs and didn't see a single hat.

Additionally here on Hyperion it seems to have been almost a full 24 hours since the last invasion. Unless of course it happened while I was asleep, but I am totally ruling out 4 hour rotations.

maybe it works in tandem... the more trash imperials you kill maybe affects the drop rate of the hats?
