Because of how important weapon dps is, the Flame Lieutenants Spear is the 3rd best Dragoon weapon in the game, even WITHOUT the 5 set piece bonus. Unless you can triple or quad meld a Giantsgall, which is ridiculous, you should get the flame spear prior to garudas beak or relic.
