The hat dropped at the end of the fight, when all the Garlean depopped and the music turned back to normal music, not as a drop from one of the little guys.

We just didn't kill claim or even survive 3 hits from the NMs but we did kill the random level 50s roaming around. We did help attack the magiteck and the nms though, did a little bit of damage.

It's possible that, at event ending, there's a random chance if you participate.

Is it possible it dropped midfight but you didn't notice, or did you actually see it drop after the event ended?

We actually saw it (they, i was too far away) at event ending, and there was no npc to sign up with.

Could it work somewhat like Campaign where people are rated on participation instead of just claiming mobs?

wtf why wasent posted in patch notes and why aggro every one i mean relly i dont want to participate in it and for those who are leveling we cant do some leves cuz they in our zone and they aggro every one and no npc i dont think se intended it to be this way
