What about the European community? What about the Austrailians? What about Poeple who live in other places of the world not in your timezone? Many people will be stuck either playing on a server with no people of the native language during primetime or being left to rot if they don't play during primetime.

You're making some awfully bold assumptions, especially about the size of the playerbase. You seem awfully sure that the playerbase isn't going to increase.

Well actually I normally play during European prime time. If I was locked into North American region, it wouldn't really make that much of a difference to me.

Also, every German person I've encountered can speak English as well as I can speak French (I'm Canadian). The only people I want segregated are the Japanese, due cultural and language barriers. I don't hate the Japanese, they just don't fit. It's clearly too much for SE to make a functional auto-translate so long as Japanese is a variable.

I don't play it because it's Japanese any more than I played TERA because it is Korean. TERA has it right though, people aren't crying because they can't play with their Japanese/Korean counterparts on their forums.

If your primary concern is auto-translate functionality, please create (or find) a topic about that and leave feedback so that Bayohne or other mods can relay those concerns to the dev team.

Actually I participated quite thoroughly in one of those threads. Of course only a handful of people participated in it (because nobody but the excessively vocal minority on these forums cares about it), there was no dev response but I do believe some of the suggestions were added in a patch shortly after. Also I've posed a question in the live letter question thread. This entire conversation in this thread is not redundant though, if the reps are doing their jobs correctly, they will see this as a hot topic (which some of you guys are getting up in arms over) and report it accordingly to their superiors. Not like it makes that much of an impact, the only time SE pretends to care what the non Japanese are talking about in their forums is when it just so happens to be an important topic for the Japanese players at the same time.

EDIT: there's not much more to say on the topic but I'd like to set it straight that there are pros and cons to both regional and global servers. Try to not be so biased because if the designation of the servers is not set in stone, popular player opinion on the matter can actually make a difference.
