    Depends on your ISP, or rather the route your ISP choses for your signal.

    The advantage of having the 3(?) data centers connected by SE would be them choosing an optimal route between the data centers instead of leaving it to our ISPs. There is much less chances for an EU ISP to screw up a route to an EU server than to a JP one after all.
