Example of concern : I noticed the character animations in the Gamescon 1012 video are downgraded, i hope this wont be the case in the final product.

Example of position : The character animations will be downgraded in the final product and i'm mad about it.

If you think concern = position, you should really go back to school, or finish it already.

Aiming for it does not mean it will happen.

When a company is "aiming" towards a certain date, that date is not a bare speculation, random, or wishful thinking. They have a REASON to aim at that specific date. They already stated that the development is closing to its completion.

Are you implying that SE aiming for an alpha test in the next couple of months means NOTHING when it comes to game development?

What is this about? Do you even know SquareEnix? Ever heard of anything they did in Game Development or how they did? How they pronounced things to come "soon" and you wouldnt see it for years?

I want to play ARR no matter what, but delay's can happen. Like i said above.. aiming for Fall, does not mean it will happen. It could also start in Winter, or if another Earthquake happns, in next Summer. You can not know, unless SE will give out a date.

The "position" that sometimes is implied by a "concern" is not relevant here. You and i never talked about if and why a downgraded animation would be detrimental to the game , we were talking about me and others, having a "concern" that the animation might be downgraded.

If you were indeed talking about my views on animation, you're still wrong that "i will be proven wrong at release" since this is a subjective issue, and you couldn't possibly know if i like the outcome or not.

Either way, you're wrong.
