comapnions could be turned into something really great. I would really like to have ability to ineract with them more.

Companions are already along for the ride in the story, why not give us more to do with them! Great ideas here Abriael.
I like all the ideas you had a lot, except for the romance part. Don't freak out and give me a dozen examples of romance in RPGs, I played them, I know. And yeah if it were an optional romance that would be okay too. But I personally don't want it. My char is a representation of myself in a fantasy world and I feel romance is a weird thing to throw into a plight to save the world.
However, it is part of the FF series =)
That's why i specified it should be optional. I'm sure not EVERYONE would be intrested in it (while I'm of the personal opinion that a vast majority would be).I like all the ideas you had a lot, except for the romance part. Though, I wouldn't see how it's a "weird thing" to throw romance in a fantasy world where you have to "save the world", considering that the vast majority of fantasy literature and filmography include romance as a major theme.
Extreme situations are normally very conductive to romance in storytelling.![]()

I believe an option for some romance would be great. Frankly, I just did my companion quest (Yes, a bit late) And I kept thinking it would be much more fun if I had options in the dialog, where I could lead the story either into just friendship or something more. Right now you don't even have your characters dialog visible, which I guess works to keep it from seeming totally different from what you would have chosen to say. Still, it's a bit frustrating not to have options.
I really like the OP's ideas here, and I would love to see some of this implemented!!
I love my companion, but I wish I could change his gear, clothes etc... it would be nice to be able to flip him between healer and fighter, depending on what I am doing. I'd love for them to be move involved with our lives within the game, and have a better role in the game over all.
I'm just a bun boy, doing bun boy things.
Lol, just weird for me that's all. And if you wanted romance that's cool, it should all be about player choice. i personally picture a "bff" scenario lol. That's why i specified it should be optional.
