well to be far he also said it was barebones and wasn't happy with how it looked and was expecting some criticism and told us to wait for official video where it will look how he wants.I really hope its incomplete, though Yoshida stated that they already "completely revamped" the animation at Gamescom, so again, there is a huge possibility that we're going to lose the god-tier animation that we currently have to a generic downgraded animation plus the ability to jump.

Wait, "it" = animation in your statement? Because that's really good news.

It doesn't specifically say any part, just that he is not happy with how current state looks, so they haven't had an official video yet, but they do like that there are homemade videos to start word of mouth. So wait till official video or Alpha beta before you settle on they have removed it. You do have a good concern but I think it is just a bit to early in testing to worry about it.Speaking of showing videos, some of you have been wondering why we haven’t officially released the footage of the demo we ran at gamescom. The answer to that is simple: it still looks like an ordinary MMO. Sure, our current players have been bowled over by the differences between the original version and A Realm Reborn. However, for those discerning MMO fans who haven’t played the original version, A Realm Reborn in its current state merely looks like your everyday MMO...just with better graphics. Yes, we expected fans to upload their own videos of the gamescom demo, but I think that at this point in the dev cycle, this is a more exciting way for people to be a part of the whole process.

I'll keep that, and hope our god-tier animation doesn't go anywhere.
Having a thread about the issue doesn't really hurt though, just to make them aware that we notice its missing.
