Well we dont know what Arcanist and Summoner will be like just yet. It may well be that if Summoner had Carbuncle, that it would be severely overpowered. Who knows. But I'm sure there's a REASON Summoner can't use it.

Well you would think that if the Smn had Carbuncle out it would not be able to use it's other summons. So I do not really see how it could be overpowered if that was the case.

Having Summoner completely incapable of using Carbuncle would make me sad, here's hoping it is just mixed info/translation.

and Capped Content just makes you play the content at what your suppose to do it at, nothing more nothing less.

It also makes me have unwanted crap in my inventory. At the most I'd get through it and simply avoid going back to said content when possible. Unlike now, where if a group needs an extra body to fill the party, I'll join on a whim and help out.

I can understand struggling at the level cap to clear content. I myself wiped on Nael half a dozen times before I defeated him. And because it's content at the level cap, wiping to him is reasonable if I were to help someone with it. Wiping on Garuda hard mode is reasonable for the same reason.

Wiping in Shposhae or Totorak isn't.

PS: Don't bring CoP into this, please. Not everyone lauds it as the best expansion to ever hit an MMORPG.

As i've said in another thread, here I am hoping that Summoner's abilities are actually modifying the Carbuncle "ability" since it says 'pet infused with the power of the elementals'. To me it seems it alters Carbuncle, so in summoner mode it's base form is not used, but it's altered form is!

Maybe they'll just add a new crafting class for all the book crafting? Maybe add paper wards & seals for other jobs to use?
