Praise me, for my ring is god's gift to man and cures cancer. I should be happy that I get good AND bad criticism... god forbid I get a smidgen of negativity, something all artists should learn to tolerate.

In other words:

NOT EVERYONE IS GOING TO LIKE YOUR WORK, DEAL WITH IT.

I dont think that was the point I was making.....so explain to me why you are being so immature......is it because no1 likes your posts? Or is it because your butthurt about your Maya renders?

Damn, looking at some of these entries is really making me kick myself for letting my digital art skills lag behind. I wasn't kidding when I said that was last minute work lol (and with a knock-off program I don't like XD) if I'd had the proper time to actually do some rendering & lighting etc... Ah well.

Seriously, so many of these entries are just pure gold. Of course I want mine to get nominated, but I really don't mind who wins this because these are all really great ideas ^_^

I guess that's why the devs want to have us vote on them - they don't want to take the heat for picking entries that not everyone agrees with etc. XD

Easy there Kasumuni, I'm pretty sure he didn't mean that in a negative way. You had a good ring design.

Maybe I did look at it the wrong way. It just annoys me when folk think programs do the work for you....

It takes talent, time, and thought when working with programs, they aren't always easy to work with. I just do better with pencil / pen & paper.

Absolutely! I think it's amazing what people can do with pencil and paper. The drawing you displayed is very detailed and it shows the time you have spent on it. It's the diagrams that go along with yours that makes it more spectacular. My philosophy in design work is 'if you don't have anything positive to say about something....don't say anything atall'
