What Will You Do With Your Free Time for the 4 or 5 Months FFXIV is Down?

I'm considering playing all the way through FFIII so I can get filled in on this crystal tower thing. Other than that the new skyrim content, and gw2 maybe? idk.

I'm not as optimistic lol. Alpha Beta phases of games take a while, and Yoshida made it pretty clear he has no intention of rushing. The only thing we've got going in our favor is that its only a half new game, so its not like they need to test everything. But I'll admit, I may have been slightly exaggerating :P

I am actually waiting for the poll to come out, but I actually want them to kick back on the servers during our wait time. I realize that, yeah, we can't really do anything because the save data has happened, but I honestly would like to just chill out in the game. Do some crazy stuff (because I know it wont impact my character), and just hang out with people.

So I am going to vote for them to reopen the servers when they place up the poll and hopefully, if most people also vote for the servers to stay up, this thought process will not be required.

However if it does, simple answer:
Play some of the other MMOs and Armored Core V.

Since I'm not gonna be in the "Testing Phases", I'll probably be playing some F2P MMOs, Offline games like AC, Final Fantasy, Tales of Series, RL, etc
