Ah yes carby could be usefull with Plumes. If he some type aoes, very useful. But they would have to even with, Mnks aura pulse, drgs rings of talons, or the aoe brds have not sure of name. They would have to effectively be as good as those to replace a DD with garuda. You cant replace the Blm cause they are needed for Chirada and do no dmg to plumes. Which also reminded me that if carbys aoes (if he gets them) are magic based he wont kill Plumes cause they resist magic.

Art im afraid will though fall in with the other classes after a certain fall into the abyss of the other Classes. Smn ill wait on to touch cause there is no info on that yet as far as i see.

you still will have carby though with smn since it's the job off of arcanist so that's why i say you can have them help out with the plumes and such and call carby back to bring forth another summons to help with other things there will be uses. Arcanist though will mainly be used as a solo most likely. =) So yeah i can't wait to see how they both play out. I think I will play around with both for the hell of it

Oh no doubt i love summoner i cant to play it, im just worried it'll start out like Dark Knight did in 11. People might look at why pick a job that enfeeble wont matter if we can kill the mob faster with a DD or just another Blm?

Meh I doubt that will happen but we'll see. I think that we'll find a way to put it in especially if it means more balance within the party or even more help. =)

This is my main for sure in FXIV as it was in XI and i just hope summoner will have carbuncle as well, not just arcanist.

tank/nuke summoner. I really cant wait to see Smn in action in TGS.

ya but lets also not forget SE's Idea of balance is nerfing till they even, rather than buffing the rest.

yeah i kinda forgot about the war >.< and it was more mrd that got the gimp but near the end it turned out fine because they were going towards more of a dd than a tank for it *shrugs* at least that's my reasoning behind it. Hell they took away a lot of decent spells for con and such but eh i won't complain too much. just enjoy playing what I play

The XI style was horrid i hope it never returns, I loved smn but hated it at the same time. I thought pup was much better done than smn and that isn't saying much.
