    Rant Thread: Comet Weather in Brittlebark

    Why SE... like what were you thinking when you decided to add a weather known as "Comet" and make it appear everywhere including Mor Dhona at such a high rate? I mean what were you thinking...?

    Because if you look up in the sky there's this huge red ball of fiery type METEOR called Dalamud that is fucking up our weather patterns and changing the shifts in the atmosphere of the game thus the "comet" weather. As REM put it so eloquently in a song "It's the end of the world as we know it"

    Wonder what 1.23b will bring us, Dalamud right on top of us? meteors falling to the ground? I want it to look like the end of the world.

    Make it like traversing Al`Taieu in XI -- Rather than Ufo's of rape coming down, make the Garlean airships randomly fire down on people, especially around Cedarwood.

    OH YYYYEEEESSSSS!!!!! Al'Taieu was my favorite zone, you never know when a UFO would sweep down and oneshot you on SCH, and the goldfish those creepy goldfish that follow you everywhere. If they reuse one FFXI zone it has to be that one. But death and destruction for 1.23b please.

    Meteorites occur when the debris of a comet is left behind and the earth (or any planet, FFXIV planet in this case) travels through that debris field, it's safe to say that Dalamud is close enough for the debris to be burning up in our atmosphere now, that's why it makes sense
