Some ppl like to collect things. Where as other ppl dont like to collect things, you have to realize where as buying this seems completely stupid to you other ppl might like it as a collection, or if for some reason someone hasn't played all the final fantasy games yet. I for one know lots of ppl that are going to buy this and never even open it up!!!! It's just to say that they have it. I know paying $450 for something you will never even use. Like I said some ppl like to collect things. You just have to put yourself in there shoes. Some ppl just think differently. Its like some ppl will spend over 20k on a car and wont spend more than 200 bucks on a computer. I think thats crazy to spend that much on a car i would never spend more than 1k on a car, but I dont just call them stupid I understand that some ppl like to have a really nice car. But where I would never spend over 1k on a car I will spend well over 10k on a nice computer.

It was a implication throughout your tone of the content of your post. You didnt specifically say it was stupid. But if you saw someone buying it in a store and went up to them and go "You do know it is a ripoff right ?" isn't the best way to approach it.

My point was that some ppl like doing things that other ppl don't like. Where as im sure you like doing things that if you said it other ppl would say your crazy for it. Some ppl like things that other ppl don't like. Just because you won't buy it that means no one is going to buy it?

Any fan that is a enough of a fan to spend $450 bucks on this set already has all the disc anyway.
SE should be releasing a 25th anniversary CD case/binder that old school fans can buy to compile there collections into, much like the Tekken box set case that came with the Tekken arcade stick a few years back. Oh and this case should also come with an earring

I also find it interesting that the FFXI that comes with this set is for PS2, PS2 is not even being included in the new expansion so that is just a joke. SE marketing team is clueless, i mean come on, crisis core is still not on the PSN.

don't think they included it with the purpose of being played. I really think this was just put together for those hardcore collectors that want it for their massive FF collection. LOL but ya I agree kind of weird on the PS2 version but then again ps2 is still very very popular in Japan so kind of makes sense too.
