i think he meant sorry because like you said monk play style is going to change, right now monk is the best single target dps. I think its going to change to a dps a little over war (which is bad), with lots of debuffs from weapon skills and little more enmity to enable it to evasion tank.

This leads one to assume no other job will be touched in ARR -- I don't think he's likely referring to it may simply be the mechanic changes that could hurt the way monk plays and it will likely have a different skill set or effects tied to it versus now. We still know little about the battle system though.
