Final Fantasy IX had some of the best Moogles in the series, save for the exception of Final Fantasy VI.

Even if this idea doesn't get implemented, I hope they have some interesting plans for the Moogles now that they aren't confined to The Black Shroud.

I'd love to see some quests to be able to use the moogles. Like in FFIX, where one is frozen and vivi has to use fire to melt it, or the one where the moogle is stuck inside the bell and you have to get it out.

What I especially liked about the moogles in FFIX was their differing personalities and mannerisms, and their personal feelings towards other moogles. These different types of moogles really made them feel like a race that was part of the world and not just stuck in their for familiarity's sake. The same should be done in ARR, if moogles are to be a bit more open and visible in society.

I would love to see a set of quests in ARR that revolves around Mognet. If they have a mail delivery system, then these moogles aren't quite the same as the current version's moogles (or that would seem a little bizarre and quite inappropriate), and there's no reason for not having that infamous network.

    My thoughts exactly!

The possibilities are endless if they decide to tap into classic Final Fantasy for a bit of inspiration.

stiltzkin appears in every single FFCC game, and Artemicion appears in 2 of them (1 is an unnamed moogle that looks exactly like artemicion, so it could be him but technically could also not be)

It should be noted that Namingway isn't a moogle. He is, in fact, a Hummingway, which are basically rabbit-like creatures who live on the moon in FFIV. (This is a reference to Japanese folklore, I believe)

Moogles, on the other hand, are basically mole-bats. The Japanese term for Moogle is Mōguri, which is a portmanteau of the Japanese words mole (mogura) and bat (komori). They're clearly supposed to be a separate species altogether.

Thanks for that bit of trivia, I actually didn't know about the Hummingway.

In terms of context, I could totally see Nono, being an airship mechanic, working alongside Cid at the Garlond Ironworks.
