its cause SE make money off of them right now. that person that owns all those bots is paying 9.99 per character which is 79.92 dollars a month. then assume they actually have a character they might play on thats another 9.99, 89.91 a month. id highly doubt they get rid of that. after 2.0 is when they probably do anything cause theyll wanna try to get some money out the game.
You'd have to be astoundingly ignorant to not see that most of the people on that screen (not saying all) are working for RMT. Everyone knows about them. I find it amazing that SE doesn't just sit around Cedarwood waiting for the next unsuspecting RMT to come along so they can ban them. I mean, if a government knew about a specific public (and I do mean very specific, down to a few square meters) location where every pickpocket in the country went to at some point, why would they not monitor the area constantly?
They don't just hang around Cedarwood, they're also at Bloodshore and Bearded Rock. I think they go to La Noscea because it's easy to get around (unlike the Shroud) and because there aren't as many people at the camps to report them (unlike Thanalan).
I reported them as RMT once, but I couldn't fit all of the names into the comma-seperated username field. xD There are that many of them.![]()
They are ever increasing on Hyperion too, lots and lots with names like sdsdsdsddsdsds or fgfgfgffgfgf one runs and a missive train of lalafels follow
I just don't see why most mmo companies can't just hire 1 to 3 people to work as GMs, and police things like this. Pay em minimum wage, and give them banhammers. There's no reason for names like these ever. Even if you just temp ban them for 3 days with a forced name change it would be a start. Could have a permaban after 2nd name change warning.
I think they'd actually make more money if they banned those. First off, the regular players would be happy to see the bots gone, and are more likely to play a game where bots are far and few between. However, the RMT aren't going to just give up when their first wave of accounts get banned. They'll make new ones. Which means buying the game again, paying the service fee...its cause SE make money off of them right now. that person that owns all those bots is paying 9.99 per character which is 79.92 dollars a month. then assume they actually have a character they might play on thats another 9.99, 89.91 a month. id highly doubt they get rid of that. after 2.0 is when they probably do anything cause theyll wanna try to get some money out the game.
I think this explains the dire situation a little better. Location: Camp Skull Valley.
Send in the clones!
If I got paid minimum wage I would probably go around and ban everyone that crossed my path the day before I quit my job for one that doesnt have crap pay. Haven't you ever heard of people quitting shitty jobs by going out with a bang?I just don't see why most mmo companies can't just hire 1 to 3 people to work as GMs, and police things like this.
