I know that, but this debate has been around since FFXI, where there never was and never will be any female galka, as they have no true gender. But people still demanded the "missing genders" anyway.

So one thing I haven't seen in these threads is the desire for their to be classic FF races as npcs and not playable characters. Much like in previous FFs. You very rarely get to play as a moomba or a burmecian(Yeah i know you got to play as Freya but she was the ONLY playable burmecian is my point) or bangaa but they're everywhere in their associated games. I'm not entirely sure or convinced that that is the right choice for FFXIV but it would be a nice throwback to the FF series to have many recognizable races make npc appearances in the game. I'm definitely against having any of them as playable races though.

A Moomba as a playable race? Um, maybe as a summon but not as a race. And I was kinda thinking more of Ivalice races since that is the way they seem to be going since they are using the Judges and such.
