Has anyone ever seen a legendary Player ?

Has anyone seen someone like this in any type of game, or in 14 Where they got gear never seen before or ultra meld? I saw my sight of legendary like player he had few items 4 Melded Not Level 3 mataria all 4x4. which i consider hard to do. sense x2 of that is somewhat hard,

did you give them the name legendary? what did they do besides get incredably lucky to got multiple 6% melds. (4 4s is about 6% chance). either they have a ton of money or a ton of luck. or a ton of time to get all the materia needed to try that many times or the money to buy a ton of materia. either way theres nothing legendary about them. how you play makes you a better player, not the gear u have. i could go buy 100,000,000 in gil and waste it all on melds but still have no idea how to play my job.

I'm not sure there is enough content in the game to consider anyone a legendary player.

I call it something else - jealousy. As a World of Warcraft player I've led a guild for 8 years. During the vanilla years we were quite successful raiding. I would log into the game early in the morning before class/work and I would instantly receive tells based on what my guild accomplished and what items I have. I generally consider jealousy to be a primary motivator for people in MMOs when a clear hierarchy of content and desirable items is established.

In FFXIV there is little room to even stand out as a great player based on your skill because of limited complexity of the combat system. This is all the more ironic by the large number of players that seem to have no idea of what they're doing in their class role.

I should note for clarification sake that as time progressed through the years we took content at a more moderate pace. Yet, I've never really seen anyone get envious over gear in Cataclysm, whereas in earlier expansions people would be clamoring over it. Players in WoW, including me, generally view that as quick, unskilled overturn of gear based solely on patches and not on skill since the hierarchy of instances was destroyed in Cataclysm.

someone who has all 50s at this point and has done allcontent (including relic and Van Darnus Hard) would be legendary in my book. people with full DL and quad melds arent legendary they are lucky and/or rich

People with relics are typically rich or lucky though. Double melds are expensive man.

a double meld is 16-18%. if u cant either farm the materia with SB and have someone you know make a few class weapons or buy a few and have someone meld then u dont deserve a a relic. if Relics required a quad meld i bet like maybe 10 people would have one right now. a double 4 is feisable
