Of course, a 2yr old issue is finally being addressed. Its all good. . . . If you expect ARR to come completely crash/glitch free right off the bat.
Are you a developer? Do you realize what an undertaking it is to entirely redesign something like the client/server structure of FFXIV? I mean you do realize that the underlying mess of code is the heart of the problem here, right?
It's not as simple as writing one or two lines of code to fix these crashes, they needed to completely rewrite the code on the server and client side.

Do you know what the real 2yr old issue is? its not the crashing, its losing all your mats when you crash during synth.
and since i said ARR isn't guaranteed not to crash on you at inconvinent times, but I hope at least they have something set up so come back and are still crafting what you were crafting where you left off, instead of losing it completely. It should be obvious I understand computer programs have their flaws.
That's not a problem at all because you used your items the second you start synthesizing, which means your items were consumed, which means they're gone long before you even disconnect or crash.
It is a problem, because you didnt have the opportunity to fail normally. Do you see a problem with coming back from an unfortunant disconnect or crash where you left off in your craft? I'ts not going to help people exploit 'almost failing' and getting their stuff back, they would just come back where they left off - almost failing - and fail as normal. really, problem? It's too late for this for the current client, but will be a great thing for ARR.

I've lost millions since relic came out because of game crashes, you don't even understand. I'm willing to bet i've lost atleast 6m because of it but not off of dodore. I've reported a few of the incidents but never recieved a reply so GL getting your leather back lol.
You can't be serious, that definitely is a problem, just one they chose not to fix
entitlement thread.
they cant without rewriting the entire Armory system. at this point it would be like peeling a baseball to get to its core fixing the core then trying to wrap it all back up, so they've gone with the just Disable it method instead of breaking the game every new patch.
