That seems like an awfully lot of effort to implement a feature that few people will care about.

Most people who've never played MMORPGs before would believe that a developer would basically waste time on something "people would rarely use" even though every MMO developer out there does it. Just because you personally wouldn't use it, doesn't mean everyone else wouldn't either.
So, you think I've never played an MMO because I can tell what features would be a waste of time or extremely low priority for developers? Most people who've never played MMORPGs before would believe that a developer would basically waste time on something "people would rarely use" even though every MMO developer out there does it. I've played MMOs since 2004, bud. Very few people care about limited in-game tools that are infinitely better done by 3rd parties. Very few people use the in-game screen shot tool over FRAPs or Steam screenshots. Nobody cares about in-game voice chat when Ventrilo, Skype, and Mumble exist. The majority of people stop caring about in-game music after a few months of play and opt for iTunes/Pandora/whatever.
I ultimately don't care if they implement an in-game radio or not. Yoshi's already on top of things and is good enough at analyzing what features will be used and what features will end up being a waste of development resources. I'm just posting my objections because this company already has an MMO with features that ended up being a waste of resources.

SE continues to add cutscenes that most people skip and rarely go back to rewatch even though they have a replay journal in their inn, is that stopping SE from continuing to add cutscenes to the game let alone will they decide "No one watches cutscenes and just skips them, so we shouldn't add cutscenes in ARR?
They added a jukebox type feature in FFXI in the Hostle located at Aht Urghan Whitegate, so I really wouldn't be surprised if SE would add another feature like this.in 11 half time people stay in there Mog House, i'd love to go in the inn relax with the radio while taking a break from everyone else, i sure lot of people that like it also, We got some sorta of Tv if you call it right now, the Book of etc,
But there is a lot of FF fans out there like to hear OST in there inn i bet
